Wedding ceremony From A to Z

There are many ways to get married. I would like to introduce you to some of them here.

Civil wedding ceremony

If this is your only wedding ceremony, ask the registry offices about branch offices. Many castles also offer civil wedding ceremonies – a real highlight.

Church wedding

If you decide on a church wedding and have several churches to choose from, I recommend the brighter ones. Also discuss with the pastor/priest whether recordings of the wedding ceremony can be made.

Symbolic wedding ceremony

My personal favorite! A free wedding ceremony is perfectly tailored to you and can actually take place anywhere. It can get very hot outdoors in summer, so use umbrellas or look for shady spots.

Elopement

The bottom line is that an elopement is also a free wedding ceremony, but in a very special place – usually just you alone or with your closest confidants. A unique and extraordinary experience, exclusively for you.

VALUABLE TIPS

Never forget, it is your wedding.

Really design your wedding according to your own ideas and stay authentic. Don’t be fooled by Instagram, Pinterest and the like, as many images are only created for the moment.

Avoid unnecessary stress over little things like bad weather, a stain on the dress or missing guests. You can’t change anything at that moment. If you’re a perfectionist, consider hiring a wedding planner to be on site until the opening dance.

Break with outdated traditions that don’t suit you. For example, consider whether a large group picture is necessary. It often takes a lot of time, there is always someone missing, and it can cause unrest. Perhaps you prefer smaller groups.

Plan your couple photos as late as possible, ideally during sunset. This can often be done during or after dessert. We will be happy to discuss further details of your wedding planning in person.

FAQ

Before you finalize your booking, it would be ideal if we could meet in person or at least talk on the phone. After all the details have been clarified, you will receive a digital contract from me. With your X, the date will then be bindingly entered in my calendar.

The selection depends entirely on your wishes. You will find frequently booked packages in the“Planning” section. But I can also put together an individual package to suit your needs. If you prefer a booking of 5.5 hours, for example, this is of course also possible.

It’s no problem at all if you have no previous experience with a professional photographer. I offer a free introductory shoot for each of my packages. This short but effective shoot serves to prepare you optimally for everything.

Yay! I love photographing weddings in new and unique locations. In fact, I’m on the road for you all over Europe. My goal is to accompany about 50% of the weddings in the Göttingen area and the remaining 50% at various locations, be it in Tuscany, in the mountains or wherever I am booked. Your dream locations are very welcome!

Everything is very relaxed for me. You don’t have to pay a deposit or pay me directly at your wedding. As soon as I have finished editing all the pictures, you will receive an invoice from me, which you can conveniently transfer.

An illness usually announces itself a few days in advance. If I am actually unable to keep your appointment, I will do my best to organize a qualified replacement for you. Thanks to my extensive network, there has never been a failure.

Cancellation is clearly regulated in the contract for both parties. I understand that unforeseen events can occur and we can talk about them at any time. However, if the cancellation is made for reasons that are considered unimportant, I reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee.
